African Calabash Nutmeg (Monodora myristica)

The Calabash nutmeg tree grows naturally in forests across several West African countries. The seeds are naturally encased in a beautiful calabash-like shell shaped like a bean. To get the seeds, the shell is cracked open with some force to release the fragrant nutmeg. Calabash nutmeg is milder in taste than regular nutmeg. It has a nutty, fragrant flavor that works well in either savory or sweet recipes.

Due to the perishable nature of our product, we do not accept returns. In the event you are dissatisfied with your purchase, you must contact us within 15 days from receiving your order. We reserve the right to limit refunds and replacements, and we can only offer one replacement per consumer.
