Another rare find of nature that grows naturally and seasonally on its own in Plateau State, Nigeria. Rosehips come from freshly pollinated flowers of wild roses that grow in select locations in Plateau State. Extremely medicinal, rosehips are very high in vitamin C and immensely immune boosting. Some also use it to reduce symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and bone-related aches because it contains polyphenols and galactolipids that are anti-inflammatory. It is usually steeped and consumed like tea. About 10 to 15 rosehips can be crushed and put in a tea cup, then add boiling water, and allow to steep for a few minutes.
